Payment gateway and banking processing transaction charges are strictly non-refundable.

Flexible Rescheduling

1. Strict Non-Refundable Fee Policy Overview

This Policy outlines the terms governing consultation fees, advance payments, and digital transactions for Life Health Medical Unit (operating under the aegis of Dr. Sinhas' Healthcare & Research Foundation), located Opposite Mahavir Mandir (Kanya Madhya Vidalaya), Gidhaur, Jamui, Bihar – 811305.

To maintain medical scheduling discipline, prevent appointment slot hoarding, and ensure dedicated physician time for genuine patients, ALL CONSULTATION FEES, ADVANCE PAYMENTS, AND PAYMENT GATEWAY CHARGES ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.

2. Non-Refundability of Consultation Fees & Advance Payments

Absolute Non-Refundable Fee Clause

ANY AND ALL CONSULTATION FEES, APPOINTMENT BOOKING AMOUNTS, ADVANCE PAYMENTS, OR PARTIAL DEPOSITS PAID ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PROCESSED, whether paid online or in person at the clinic.

  • In-Clinic Appointments: Advance booking fees and consultation fees paid to reserve an in-clinic consultation slot are non-refundable.
  • Telehealth / Video Consultations: Pre-paid fees for online video or phone consultations are non-refundable once scheduled.
  • No Cash or Account Refunds: No monetary refunds (via bank transfer, cash, UPI, or card reversal) shall be issued for cancelled, unattended, or missed appointments.

3. Payment Gateway Charges Are Strictly Non-Refundable

Third-Party Gateway Surcharges

All digital payment transactions processed through payment gateways (UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets) incur banking aggregator convenience fees. THESE PAYMENT GATEWAY TRANSACTION CHARGES ARE 100% NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

Life Health Medical Unit does not retain third-party payment processing surcharges; these are debited directly by licensed banking intermediaries and payment aggregators.

4. Appointment Rescheduling Option (In Lieu of Refund)

While monetary refunds are strictly not provided, we offer a patient-friendly Slot Rescheduling Policy so that your paid consultation amount is not lost:

Notice Given > 4 Hours Prior to Appointment

If you notify our helpline (+91 8287898485) at least 4 hours before your allocated time, your advance consultation fee will be transferred to reschedule your appointment to any available future date within 30 days at no extra charge.

Late Notice (< 4 Hours) / No-Show

If you miss your slot without prior notice, one complimentary reschedule is permitted within 7 days by contacting clinic administration. Fees remain non-refundable.

Clinic Unforeseen Closure / Physician Emergency

If an appointment must be adjusted due to clinic emergency or physician unavailability, the patient will receive Priority Rescheduling to the next earliest slot of their choice.

5. Non-Refundable Clinical Services & Medicines

The following services and items are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Completed Consultations: Once consultation with the attending physician has taken place, the fee is fully earned and strictly non-refundable.
  • Dispensed Medications & Lotions: Under drug safety and hygiene laws, medicines, ear drops, creams, and skin preparations once sold/dispensed cannot be returned or refunded.
  • Clinical Procedures & Tests: Ear wax suction, otoscopy examinations, and diagnostic procedures once performed are non-refundable.
  • Payment Gateway Fees: Non-refundable as outlined in Section 3.
